In 2003, AlphaMicron, Inc. distinguished itself by becoming the first research and development firm in the world to establish an unfettered creative playground for fashion design. A unique group of designers and artists were able to successfully bridge the cultural divide between science and fashion. This creative synthesis gave rise to ADEPT™, an exhilarating hybrid of visionary physics, esoteric chemistry, and couture methodology. Creative embellishments and projects included liquid crystal fringe, sequins, buttons, and screen-printed swimwear. On September 12, 2006, ADEPT™ elegantly launched its first collection during New York Fashion Week and continued with 3 consecutive seasons. Various collections were featured in a number of fashion magazines including WWD, Gap Press, Harper's Bazaar, Nylon, and Elle.

Although ADEPT™ is not currently in production, AlphaMicron remains open to the possibility of future collaborations with the fashion industry.
